Executive Members Accountability Framework

To promote structure, discipline, efficiency, transparency, and responsible leadership within the Ijebu Descendant Association of Canada (IDAC), all executive members shall be guided by the following accountability framework:


1. Attendance & Participation
Executive members are expected to attend all scheduled meetings, activities, and official engagements of the Association unless formally excused for valid reasons communicated ahead of time.


2. Responsibility & Performance
Every executive member shall actively perform and fulfill the duties and responsibilities attached to their office or assigned committee with commitment, professionalism, and diligence.


3. Respect for Structure
All executive members are expected to acknowledge, respect, and operate within the established structural and administrative procedures of the Association at all times.


4. Communication & Conduct
Executive members shall communicate responsibly, respectfully, and professionally in ways that promote peace, unity, maturity, and organizational growth.


5. Accountability & Reporting
Members assigned to specific tasks, projects, or committees shall provide timely updates, progress reports, and accountability regarding assigned responsibilities.


6. Teamwork & Unity
All executives shall work collectively in the interest of the Association while avoiding actions capable of creating division, confusion, disorder, or disrepute.


7. Commitment to Growth
Every executive member is expected to contribute ideas, effort, creativity, and positive participation towards the continuous growth, development, and success of IDAC.


8. Warning & Disciplinary Measures
Any executive member found repeatedly violating established policies, exhibiting negligence towards assigned responsibilities, or consistently failing to comply with executive expectations may be subjected to the following disciplinary process:
First Violation: Verbal or written warning
Second Violation: Final written warning
Third Violation: Possible dismissal, suspension, or removal from office subject to executive review and constitutional procedures


9. Compliance
All executive members are expected to abide fully by the constitution, policies, procedures, and resolutions of the Association at all times.
This framework exists not to intimidate, but to guide, strengthen, and position the Association for long-term growth, accountability, orderliness, unity, and excellence.
